by Hermie Ansay Rivera on He Said, She Said |
you sit down again in a corner
as lights go out
and all were asleep
only the moon stares at you boldy from the window.
you hold your pen
and pull out your journal under your pillow
the one you’ve been hiding for so long
the only one that knows your secrets.
you start writing down your emotions
with the quiet night
that tries hard not to laugh at your foolishness.
you feel so alone
in the ocean of darkness
but your poem’s reminding you that it will soon get better
that one day he will find you again.
