In Another Place

by Christine Michelle Gumanoy Parescal | shared on He Said, She Said |

You put a stain not on my shirt
But on my innocent heart which feels rebirth
Now it has become a glimmering stone
Shining and rolling in a romantic tone

However a Stream has taken me today
Water’s pushing me away
The Sun, the Wind and Air led me to you
But it seems that the Earth don’t want me to

If I can’t be with you in this world
My heart would still beat and never colds
For I know this isn’t the end
In another place, you’d be with me and I shall be mended

Time will come and I’ll be back
In your arms where love never lack
It maybe not here and not now
It will surely come, maybe or somehow.
