HeSaidSheSaidPH.com | Swim like a nymph, fly like a butterfly. Bogor, the Indonesian town situated in Java, attracts tourists from every corner of the earth, as it is famous for the temperate weather and carefree attitude. Bogor is a retreat from the bustling, boisterous Jakarta, as the town is in the outskirt. It takes only an hour by train from Jakarta to reach this picturesque, charming terrain. You will not get jaded if you stroll around the streets enjoying the natural, magnificent beauty of the quiet town. The lush green tea gardens thriving with emerald green bushes are amazing. To make it more charming, you can roam the tea plantation on horseback.

A comfortable, surprising stay

The Mongolian style hotels in Bogor in Kota Bunga Estate Puncak are a pleasant surprise for you. You can stay in a Japanese cottage, Mongolian camp, or in an English style house. The tents are pitched in a wild rough country with all modern facilities such as sofa sets, air condition, and sparkling toilets. If it is your birthday during the stay, the hotel staff will decorate your room and wish you with their heart, touching. From entry to exit, you will be greeted with a warm smile and etiquette.

Shop like a native

Pasar Baru is the chief market in Bogor, located very near to the botanical garden. The market is swarming, hot and humid, but you will gain a classic experience if you can bear the pain. The vendors display a wide range of fish, meat, and flora. Many kinds of clothes are sold in this market, both new and seconds. From there, you can visit the rare, lone gongsmith, who crafts it traditionally. The gongs are the famed Indonesian instrument called gamelan. Over the charcoal furnace, the metal is smelted to handcraft the meticulous gongs. Buy gongs to gift some loved ones or to keep it as a souvenir.

Thrilling adventure

The one who dares can go for paragliding; the club is located at Bukit Paralayang Bogor. You can reach the highest point by motor bike, car or on foot. The distance is almost 400 meters, if you choose to walk the scenery around is besieging. If this is the opening paragliding when you soar like a bird above 1.30kilometers above sea level, you will lament why you did not dare it before. You may feel apprehensive, but the glide is safe and secure as the instructor flies with you on the same paraglide. One session lasts for around fifteen minutes; it is a quintessential experience.

Nymph waterfall

Bogor is a town which is encircled with stunning cascades. The magnificent of all is the nymph waterfall. You can take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water on the pool forming at the bottom of the falls. The sandy beach around the lake makes this place more beautiful. The road from Bogor to Puncak or peak is overwhelming with a breathtaking landscape. While on the stay, do not miss the delicious, delectable fresh fruits, vegetables, apple pies, and baked macaroni.
