Dear Future Husband

by Shimeiriah Inventor | shared on He Said, She Said |

Like a claydough in my art class
I formed you beautifully
and dirted off the dust.

I formed you without a face
With just your hands and feet
I can’t take you off my gaze.

I carried you around me everywhere i go. . . still faceless.
I tried matching you with some paper dolls, you just won’t suit to anyone at all.

Then i took a picture of me
And placed it onto your heart
In just a moment it stuck, like an arrow in the dart
All of a sudden the clay starts to transform
That faceless thing I once have formed,
now had a face exactly like yours.
