Nasaktan. Nag move on. Nakabangon.
Sana naman, natuto ka na din.
Pero handa ka na bang umibig muli?
He Said: Letting go of someone from your past is the very first step in accepting what God has to offer this time around. Usually, we forget to consult God when it comes to relationships. Di ba nga, you cannot unlove someone by trying to love another? Unfair sa i-try mong mamahalin. Kung talagang nakabangon ka na at di mo na masyadong naalala ang sakit na pinagdaanan mo, you’re getting there. You deserve to be happy. But if you’re still hurting, don’t find that happiness in another person right away (na magiging kayo na agad). Happiness is not something you aim for with someone, but it’s a result of something you do. In the end, kung natatakot kang masaktan muli, isipin mo na matagal-tagal ka pang magiging single. Of course, di masama maging single. Yung pagiging dahilan ang di ok. Love will never be a risk if you asked God to send you that person as His gift.
She Said: Is it really hard to love again? Maybe yes, maybe no. It really depends on the person involved.
According to -Leon Brown- You cannot be healed when you hold on to pain. You must let it go, so that your heart is free to embrace love again.
I think the first step is to learn to forgive the one who hurt you and forgive yourself as well. Let go of the anger, hurt, resentment, negativity and stop blaming anyone. When you’re done with this, you can start opening your heart, but do not hurry. Love when you’re ready. Remember you are not in a competition in changing your status from being “single” to “in a relationship.” What’s important is you are ready to take another chance. Loving is always risky if you decide without wisdom from above. Don’t be afraid. Pray for it and let God do the rest.
