Let Go

You know when it’s time to let go.
You know when it has ended. But somehow, you’re still hoping that the person you have given everything will come back. Then again, when you’re the only one left fighting for a relationship that has ended, it’s time to move forward and begin again. Mahirap paniwalaang tapos na. Mas mahirap tanggapin na wala na. Pero sadyang kailangan.

Have you ever asked yourself what you deserve? You may feel so down and out today. But you need to forget what you feel and remember what you deserve. And you deserve to be happy. To be happy, you’ve got to stop holding on to what hurts and make room for what feels good, to what feels right. Change can be good, you know. It’s like ending one chapter of a book and writing a new one with a better ending. It’s because no one can go back and make a brand new start. But anyone can start from today to make a brand new ending. That’s how God designed life. That everyday, the sun reminds us that there’s another day to rewrite your life.

What to do with the past? Leave it where it belongs — in the past. What’s done is done. You have 3 choices in front of you today: let the past define you, let it destroy you, or let it strengthen you. You choose.

There are things we don’t want to happen, but have to accept. Remember that there are things we don’t want to know but have to learn. And people we can’t live without but have to let go. So when the wrong people leaves you, trust God that the right one will come along. And you may say, “s/he was the right one for me.” Iniwan ka na nga di ba? Eh di wrong person siya. 🙂

Today, may you find strength and clarity to realize that God has blessed you with a new beginning. That He has given you the chance to change your situation to a better one. Accept the opportunity. Rewrite your book of love. Make it a much better happy ending.

God bless you!
